Billy Joel never sounded so good
Beautiful
Jakahal 0:13 😮😅nana 0:17 😅
George looks so attractive here.❤
The music is what I enjoy paired with the slapstick. A nice medley.
The fith Pathon ❤
Michael Palin Policeman
1. This aged poorly 2. The Rutles version is better
There's nothing like finding a great British mystery for the first time❤Thank you alot!
Not just funny, but a proper disco bop! Neil was a true gift to this world and is sorely missed.
This clip would make you think it was a deleted scene from Cabaret.
Brilliantly inventive gem!
Get Up And Go
Lennon advised Innes never to let Paul hear that song.
@@JJMMWGDuPree I read that Lennon warned Innes that "Get Up And Go" was similar to "Get Back" like an argument and holded copy of film "All you Need is Cash" in his privarte collection. How it's true I don't know)
@@SergeiTeplo This is another of those things that we'll never really know for sure. I was quoting from an interview with Neil Innes.
One of the few bands that are just as good live as they are on the album. Karl was a visionary, RIP.
South Shields , tyne and wear, south Tyneside....❤️❤️❤️
Actually it’s nice to see Neil giggling in this, as he was often quite deadpan- even though he was in reality a very warm man.
was that Michael Palin as the police officer?
Eccentric comic genius..and a Southend boy to boot!!!...R.I.P...Sir Vivian of Stanshall😆😇😜😁...Well' strap me to a tree and call me Brenda!
Thanks for posting this. I would love this song a lot more, if it weren't so... you know... dated. 😛
Tim Finns twin
Briliant work. Mr. Innis will be remembered.
Great song-bonkers video😂😂😂😂
It's about as 1969 as it gets.
Why have I never seen or heard this before??? This is incredibly good and extremely funny
There was shades of 'Sparks' in that song.
So cringeworthy how people try to find excuses for THIS guy while still justifying the cancellation of lesser known minstrel performers of the past. Man, you deserve the pain your own zeitgeist causes you. 😏 It's not these shows that have aged badly - it's the immature society you've created today.
Very telling, I think, that all the people I've met who don't like The Goodies have been the most humourless and pompous knobheads imaginable.
Outstanding bass line in this tune
>:3
Mi infancia en vivo:
My quest is over. Finally I found a show that makes perfect sense.
Great funeral song.
They only had one season.
Elvis and four of the 5 Neat Guys
So well done.
Love the French intonation in the last part.😂
Well Innes was the 5th Beatle…
IBOR was excellent
This is the way politicians now speak.
I recorded this on T.V. I think in 1984 it creeped the heck out of me LoL especially the creepy music.
Seems unlikely, but I think that's one of the many Superman costumes worn in the "Bicycle Repairman" sketch.
got that right!
Awesome. Nostalgia overload.
bRILLIANT
Neil was fantastic singer songwriter remember seeing him live so funny 😂
I used to watch these cartoons when I was younger and really enjoyed them and they were funny and entertaining. There was the Catanooga cat's Atom Ant, and Secret Squirrel.
I met Graham Chapman in his last days but I would've loved to have met Innes.
how was the encounter with Graham? where it was and what did he said? would love to hear about it.
Probably inspired by Finnish 1976 entry.
Love the white tuxedo, handkerchief, and hair. Now the world knows from where Keith Floyd stole his look. 🤣
Wonder if John Lennon heard this one....
I think the timing would not have worked for that. This was first shown in 1981, according to the posters of the clip. Shame, John probably would have appreciated it.
